Finish New Year’s week by hiking the woods and former fields of the Talmage Farm, in northern Springs.  We will hike from Three Mile Harbor Road to the salt marshes of Accabonac Creek, where we’ll visit the scenic Nancy Kelley Preserve and the Nature Conservancy’s Merrill Lake Sanctuary.  

Meet 10:00 a.m. on east side of Three Mile Harbor Road about 100 yards north of Maidstone Market (which is opposite Flaggy Hole Road).  Wet footing possible in the Accabonac Meadows so waterproof shoes are recommended.  Bring snacks & liquids.
