The Sherrills and Parsons are two of the founding families of East Hampton. Mary Foster Morgan reminisces about visiting her grandparents in East Hampton during the1950s and 60s. She recalls her Grandmother Sherrill’s stories about early East Hampton and the "two Sherrill houses"—one on Main Street and another across from the Dominy shops on North Main. As a child, she was fascinated by who lived in those homes. We'll walk from one to the other, and hear the insights Mary uncovered about her family, and early East Hampton values that resonate to this day.
Meet at 10 AM at the Lumber Lane long term parking lot 2 East Hampton.
