East End Classic Boat Society and Amagansett Life Saving Station with Peconic Land Trust. Join us for a beach walk to visit the Amagansett Life Saving Station, established in 1902 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Learn about the invaluable work of those who were stationed there. We will also visit the East End Classic Boat Society. Here you’ll learn traditional woodworking skills used to build and restore vintage boats. This walking tour provides a comprehensive overview of the East End maritime history and its influence on the Amagansett community. Meet 10 AM at Indian Wells Beach, Amagansett.
