Big Reed Pond in Montauk County Park was recognized in 1976 as a National Natural Landmark, and its trail system ranks among East Hampton’s finest. We'll take this easy hike at a naturalist's pace, keeping our eyes open for Spring ephemeral plants beginning to emerge from their long slumber. Waterproof footwear encouraged.
