Abounding in history - natural, Native American, and contemporary - the trail system around Big Reed Pond in Montauk County Park ranks among East Hampton's most diverse and beautiful. On this hike, we'll visit the remote Hilda Lindley House and keep a special eye open for spring ephemeral plants emerging from their long slumber. Some uneven terrain: waterproof footwear recommended.
