Level: Moderate pace

This is among the most beautiful oceanside hikes in all East Hampton.   We will follow the Point Woods Trail to gain a spectacular cliffside view, then track the coastline to enjoy additional viewpoints at varying elevations.  After culminating at a near-360-degree panorama, we will follow the Battery 113 trail through more forest and return to our starting point. All are welcome to relish Camp Hero's beautiful woodlands, crumbling cliffs, shining sea, and mysterious military artifacts. Bring binoculars if you are interested in birds and sea life.  

Meet at 1 PM on Camp Hero Road, across from Madison Hill Drive; muddy and/or icy patches possible.
