Starting on Amagansett's historic Main Street, our hike will leave charming Amagansett village and traverse upcountry woodlands and farm fields in the early springtime. This route follows local roads to the access point for Stony Hill’s Forest, then tracks parts of the Paumanok Path, Archery Trail and Springs to Amagansett Trail. Skirting the impressive Baker Kettlehole, we will pass through Amagansett's farmlands before returning to the starting point. All are welcome to relish Amagansett's beautiful beechwood forest and broad fields and appreciate a variety of avian and terrestrial fauna. Duration: App. 2.5 hours. Meet 10 AM in the parking lot behind the Amagansett Free Library.
