Day 2 of our six-weekend series covering the entire Paumanok Path in East Hampton, from west to east. We are offering 3 Hikes per day - 9:30 early long (8 miles), 10:30 late long (8 miles), and 11:30 short (4 miles). The East Hampton Trails Preservation Society is providing bus transportation for these hikes. Each hike is limited to 50 participants, and pre-registration is required. A suggested donation of $10 per person (each hike) is respectfully requested to defray the cost of bus transportation. Heavy rain may cause postponement to Sunday. 11:30 AM - PAUMANOK PATH - SOAK HIDES DREEN TO STONY HILL, ~ 3.5 MILES (short hike)This is an alternative shorter hike over part of today’s section of the Paumanok Path. Park on road shoulder of Northwest Road, approx. 500 feet to 1,000 feet south of intersection with Alewive Brook Road. Buses will take hikers to the hike starting point.
