This beautiful, forested trail brings us to the shoreline of Block Island Sound, where seals can sometimes be seen on the rocks offshore at or near low tide. Consequently, we will try for a prompt at 9 AM start from Camp Hero Road, not too far from the Montauk Lighthouse.
Take Montauk Highway past Deep Hollow Ranch, going about a mile, then watching for a right turn onto Camp Hero Road. Park with all wheels off the blacktop.
